CANTANTE – CENE AZIENDALI – CONVENTION – CONCERTI DAL VIVO
Sono un cantante, bassista e chitarrista inglese di madre italiana, nato in un paese vicino a Liverpool… inizio la mia carriera di musicista giovanissimo e nel 1974 vengo chiamato con la mia band a suonare negli Stati Uniti
Inizia così la mia attività da professionista e l’incontro con il vasto pubblico. Nel Maryland frequento un’autorevole scuola di canto per perfezionare, ancora di più, l’intensità e l’estensione vocale
Dopo il periodo statunitense mi trasferisco in Italia, prima a Roma e poi a Milano, dove registro due dischi per la “Polygram”: “Shout On” e “No News, Bad News”
In tutta la mia carriera ho dato vita a numerose importanti formazioni e band di successo
La prima, a cui devo la prima fama, è quella dei “Charlie And The Cats” (Farrington, Cinelli, Valbusa) con la quale sono riuscito a produrre otto dischi e un film “Sono Fuori”
In seguito, ho fondato diverse altre formazioni…
– la “Alan Farrington Band”, avvalendomi di pregevoli musicisti del calibro di Ellade Bandini, Ares Tavolazzi e Sandro Gibellini
– i “No Smoking”
– i “Maxi Taxi”, con Gogo Ghidelli e Cesare Valbusa, con i quali suono rock a 360 gradi
Nel 1993 registro “Frank My Dear”, tributo a Frank Sinatra, un album magico registrato on air
Sempre quell’anno registro 2 cd sulla storia del Blues
Nel 2002, come bassista e cantante, entro di nuovo in studio per incidere, con il mio Hammond Trio, l’album “Lounge out”
Nello stesso anno canto nel cd “The Illusion” dove suonano Winnie Colaiuta, Antonello Bruzzese e Pino Palladino
Nel 2003 realizzo il dvd “No Smoking Live Tv Show” e nel 2005 incido il nuovo album: “Easy Way Out”
Reduce dai vari concerti estivi, ho ultimato i lavori del mio nuovo album “Friendship”, prodotto da Antonello Bruzzese presso gli studi Metro Records
Anche questa volta, ho potuto contare su grandi artisti del calibro di Fiorenzo Delegà, Simone Boffa, Cesare Valbusa, Roby Soggetti, Andrea Corvaglia, Lino Sabbadini, Jacopo Jacopetti, Osvaldo Tagliani, Irene Pertile, Betty Vittori, Stefania Martin, Andrea Bettini, Marco Cremaschini, Carlo Cantini

I am an English (born near Liverpool) singer, bassist and guitarist with an Italian mother… I started my career as a musician very young and in 1974 I was called with my band to play in the United States
So begins my professional activity and the meeting with the audience. In Maryland I attended an authoritative singing school to perfect, even more, the intensity and vocal extension
After the American period I moved to Italy, first to Rome and then to Milan, where I recorded two records for the “Polygram”: “Shout On” and “No News, Bad News”
Throughout my career I have created numerous important formations and successful bands
The first, to which I owe my first fame, is that of “Charlie And The Cats” (Farrington, Cinelli, Valbusa) with which I managed to produce eight records and a movie “Sono Fuori”
Then, I founded several other formations…

Ich bin ein Englisch (geboren in der Nähe von Liverpool) Sänger, Bassist und Gitarrist mit einer italienischen Mutter… Ich begann meine Karriere als Musiker sehr jung und 1974 wurde ich mit meiner Band gerufen, um in den USA zu spielen
So beginnt meine berufliche Tätigkeit und das Treffen mit dem Publikum. In Maryland besuchte ich eine maßgebliche Gesangsschule, um die Intensität und die Stimmerweiterung noch mehr zu perfektionieren
Nach der amerikanischen Periode zog ich nach Italien, zuerst nach Rom und dann nach Mailand, wo ich zwei Platten für das “Polygram” aufnahm: “Shout On” und “No News, Bad News”
